Fishers tops list of growing cities
The recession has slowed down population growth across Indiana, but not in Fishers, which has nearly doubled its population since 2000.
The town has gained 32,884 residents, accounting for the most growth of any city or town in the state, according to a study of U.S. census data released Wednesday by Indiana University.

Book Discussion Groups
Book discussion groups will meet at the library during the month of January. The book groups are divided into three categories: critical mass, page turners, and books for lunch.
The critical mass group is reading <em>Heart of Darkness</em> by Joseph Conrad, and will meet on Wednesday, January 6 from 7:00-8:30 pm.
StrollerFit® Fridays
Think you have no time to working out with taking care of the kids? Think again. StrollerFit® is a interactive program that allows parents to work out using their childs’ stroller. The class is held at The Fieldhouse every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from now until April 30th.
A Festival to Remember the True Meaning on Christamas
A festival will be held on Christmas Eve at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, in Noblesville. Choirs and other members of the community will retell the story of Christ’s birth, and touch on other valuable lessons from the bible. Carols and anthems will be sung throughout this event, beginning at 4:30 pm.

Local Schools Spell Teams do Well in State Finals
According to Star.com:
The Fishers High School spell team will head to state finals this month after they placed first at the Spell Bowl held in Arcadia in October.Fishers High School was among the top three winners in the Class 1 category before Pendleton Heights High School, which came in second place, and Hamilton Southeastern High School in Fishers, which placed third.
Clay Fall Band Concert
The concert will be taking place at the Clay Middle School Auditorium from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Nov. 29.
